Meet Rick
I spent years building software inside enterprises, where encrypted client data, two-factor auth and real test suites are simply assumed. Then I started working with nonprofits and found they are offered none of it. The choice on the table is usually a page builder with a donate button, or a quote with an extra zero on it. Fox & Hound exists to be the third option.
That is not a positioning statement, it is what the code does. The DNAngels case system holds 9,500+ case records behind envelope encryption and two-factor auth enforced per role, with 223 test suites and a companion app for volunteers working away from a desk. It was built on a nonprofit budget. I have now built that same architecture ten times, which is why the estimate is realistic and why the thing still runs three years later.
